Munich, Germany: Hours 19 and 20 of 24skate #10
Another morning skate for the 24skate event: The weather was quite agreeable after weeks of seemingly endless rainfalls. I was really lucky, because a few kilometers north you could see
rain showers coming down from the clouds. But at the Oktoberfest area it stayed dry and the few wet spots from the nightly thunderstorm dried away
too.

Originally I had planned to skate four hours in a row, but during the preparation phase I noticed that this would not be a fun event.
I had not skated much the last two years, and this lack of customization took its toll. So I did a down-sizing to two hours, which still meant quite
a lot of eight-shaped laps to go.

At least my first hour was faster than the single hour I did last year and I ended up with exactly 52.00 km according to my (cheap) GPS
watch. The statue of liberty sibling "Bavaria" seems to present it to you:

Here is a panoramic view of the area, seen from below the "Bavaria". The red line marks my track.

If you ever come to Munich, Bavaria and I will welcome you to a nice skate-out together.

Until then, best regards
Clemens
