Today, 11 May, the 24skate 2025 was held at the De La Bozada rink in Zaragoza.






With good temperature, it has gathered about 24 skaters. From 5 years old to +60 years old.



The skaters have completed the challenge of 1 hour skating non-stop from 11:00 to 12:00 on 11 May 2025.
24skate is a worldwide event where registered countries choose the time slot they commit to skate, completing 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday.
This year, countries from New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Scotland, Australia, China, Zaragoza-Spain, USA have participated.
Zaragoza has picked up the time baton from China and we have handed it over to Germany.

This year the hares have been Oscar and Pilar from CPV Cierzo.



They have completed 128 laps of a track of 200 meters, thus completing 25,600 km.




The skaters who have accompanied them have also fulfilled the challenge of 1 hour without stopping in the big homologated skating rink of La Bozada (Zaragoza. Spain).





We would like to thank the Aragonese skating federation for their support in this event.

24skate is the brainchild of Clemens Suerbaum from Germany, who will make a personal donation to Unicef Germany with the amount of kilometres skated by all participants of the 24skate.

I will not get tired of thanking the collaboration and support of entities (FAP, CPV CIERZO, OSB, Brazadas solidarias), as well as people like Maria Muñoz and team, the hares Oscar and Pilar, sprinters and amateur skaters (children & Senior) and Hector (as camera), who year after year keep alive this spectacular event.
