Rio de Janeiro: Hour 3+4 of 24skate#5

Skate around the world in 24 hours this year was very special!!! 21 brave skaters took part in the event. Rioinline participated at the fifth time for two hours: 10:00 to 12:00 on the 14th of June.
This year we realized the event for the first time in the Municipal Velodrome of Rio de Janeiro (Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno, s/nš, Barra da Tijuca) where the speed skating championships PAN 2007 took place.
Many skaters enjoyed this marvelous place, especaially for such an international event. Rioinline has taken part in the 24skate from its first edition in 2004. Its total numbers since then are impressive: More than 580 km skated, 565 participants and 3.200 Euro donated!

Rioninline beat its own record in this event: 44 km in 2 hours (more than a marathon!), 22,8 km in the first hour, 21,2 km in the second hour.
