Falkirk, Scotland: Hour 8 of 24skate #15


Hi Clemens,

Thanks again for organising the 24 Skate. We had 11 skaters who covered a total of 77 miles and collected donations. Here is a short report and I've also attached some photos.

Eleven skaters ventured out in Falkirk (Scotland) in what looked like horrible conditions with torrential rain. However, fortune favours the brave and no sooner had we laced our skates up when the clouds parted and were treated to glorious sunshine for the whole event.

Ages ranged from 7 - 50, all enjoying a skate around the Helix, iconic Kelpies and the surrounding woodlands which all have the most amazing smooth paths. Everyone had fun, with smiles all round... especially when we met the cutest little pup and hijacked him for our group photo!
