Munich, Germany: 24skate #20, June 25
The late morning of the 25th June brought the second 24skate #20 shift for me, and the first for my daughter and her friend. We started right from hour door, but just a few hundreds meter after the start Fernando's coffeinometer should a low status bar and we stopped at a kiosk which was named after the year when the first kiosk stood at that place.

Excellent coffee served here.
After replenishment of this power source, the real skate started. Two things you can see in the following video: Firstly, the weather was nothing short of perfect: Warm but not too hot. Secondly, we had not only skates, but also a skaterboarder with us. May be, he was the first 24skate-boarder on the planet?

Skating over Thalkirchner bridge and river Isar, duration ca. 10 seconds
For the first downhill to go under the bridge we braked in an unusual style:

But some meters later we looked like pro skaters again:

There is a huge outdoor recreational area along river garden which require some security personnel. But not for us harmless 24skaters.

You can even take a family bath here:

The whole route is free of car traffic. Our path leads below the big roads.

Here is an exciting 24skate challenge. Can Clemens pick up this branch from the path at full speed? Click on the video screenshort to find out!

24skate challenge, duration ca. 9 seconds
Behind the trees you have a peek at the famous German Museum (Deutsches Museum), for science of all kind.

Also here, almost in the city center, people use the river for recreation of the easy kind...

... and the not so easy.

We reached our turning point for our skate-out and took a well deserved break in this beergarden with what the architects at that time thought could look like a Chinese tower.

There is an open air band playing Bavarian music at the first floor of the tower. We listened for a short while. Can you find the two 24skaters in this beergarden? Click on the picture for the solution

Here is a 24skater who is always doubling down when it comes to wearing a helmet during skating:

We had another rest during our trip back. Some had an active break...

... and some not:

On the opposite bank of river Isar next to the German Museum there is the European Patent office, at that day without any flags:

Sooner than we thought and soon after this picture our two hours were over

It was really a nice tour. All 24skaters coming to Munich one time are warmheartedly invited to do this or a similar skate tour with me. Just drop me a mail.
Best regards
Clemens
